The first store to be procured under the new Asda Stores framework for contractors has been completed at Rushden, Northampton.

Darnton Elgee have acted as architects for the design and build contractor, Bowmer and Kirkland, working in partnership to deliver the complex new build 75,000sqft superstore.

A major factor in the design of the project was the need for a full undercroft car park, effectively meaning that trading areas are situated at first floor level.
