Darnton Elgee have recently completed the second phase of a scheme to convert former college facilities in Barnsley to University accommodation.
The University Centre Barnsley, developed on behalf of the University of Huddersfield, marks a further expansion for the successful higher education provider and is an addition to the existing venture based in Oldham.
A town under regeneration, Barnsley is further aided in this re-birth by the newly created centre, with the provision of higher education courses being a major step forward.
Darnton Elgee are pleased to have been a supporting factor in this project, involving total refurbishment of the impressive existing building, internally and externally.
The scheme together with a major town centre regeneration development on behalf of Cooperative Group Property forms part of a growing portfolio in the town for Darnton Elgee. |
