Works have started on site for a project to create exciting new facilites for the University of Huddersfield - the 'Creative Arts Building'.

A ground breaking ceremony was held on 8th December 2006 and marked the start of the scheme that will ultimately provide sustainably designed facilites for both the Music and Art & Design departments of the University.

The development is being carried out under a Design, Manage and Construct contract and works are due to complete in March 2008.
